Privacy Policy
How Minzzle Technologies Pvt. Ltd. collects, uses, and protects your data when you use CliqCase.
1. Who we are
CliqCase is a product of Minzzle Technologies Pvt. Ltd., a company incorporated in India. When this policy says "we", "us", or "our", it refers to Minzzle Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
CliqCase is a legal case management software platform designed for Indian advocates, law chambers, and legal professionals. We operate from India and our primary users are based in India.
This Privacy Policy applies to the CliqCase web application, mobile applications, and the marketing website at cliqcase.app.
2. Data we collect
2.1 Account and profile data
When you register or are added to a CliqCase workspace, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and professional details such as your bar enrollment number and firm or chamber name.
2.2 Case and matter data
You and your team enter case information into CliqCase — matter details, court references, CNR numbers, parties, hearing dates, orders, notes, and tasks. This is your data. We store it to provide the service.
2.3 Documents
Files you upload — orders, vakalatnamas, pleadings, evidence — are stored securely on our behalf by Backblaze B2 (a US-based cloud storage provider). Files are encrypted at rest with AES-256 before storage.
2.4 Client data
Your clients' names, contact details, and matter-related information that you enter into CliqCase are stored and processed solely to deliver the case management service to you. We do not use client data for any other purpose.
2.5 Usage and log data
We collect standard server logs — IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps — for security monitoring, debugging, and service improvement.
2.6 Demo and contact form data
If you fill out the demo request form on our website, we collect the details you provide (name, email, firm, team size) to respond to your inquiry.
3. How we use your data
- To create and manage your CliqCase account and workspace.
- To provide the core features: case management, eCourts sync, document storage, calendar, and team collaboration.
- To send hearing reminders, cause-list updates, and client notifications via email and WhatsApp (where you have enabled these).
- To respond to demo requests, support queries, and onboarding communications.
- To detect and prevent security incidents, abuse, or unauthorised access.
- To improve the product based on aggregate, anonymised usage patterns.
- To comply with legal obligations under Indian law.
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.
4. AI and your data
CliqCase offers AI-powered legal workflows including document analysis, legal research, and preparation assistance. When you use these features:
- Content from your case files may be sent to a third-party AI language model provider to generate AI outputs. Only the specific content you trigger for AI analysis is sent — not your entire workspace.
- Before any content is sent to an external AI provider, our system automatically redacts personally identifiable information (PII) including phone numbers, email addresses, Aadhaar numbers, and PAN numbers.
- AI workflows are scoped to your firm's workspace. One firm's data is never used to inform AI outputs for another firm.
- We do not use your case data to train AI models.
Our AI providers process data under commercial agreements that prohibit using submitted content for model training. A current list of our AI and data sub-processors is available on request at info@minzzle.tech.
6. Storage and retention
Your data is primarily stored on servers located in India or regions covered by our service providers' standard commercial agreements. We take reasonable steps to ensure data is processed securely regardless of location.
We retain account and case data for as long as your workspace is active. If you close your account or your subscription lapses beyond a grace period, we will retain your data for 90 days to allow recovery, after which it is permanently deleted.

7. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) and applicable Indian law, you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention obligations.
- Grievance redressal — raise a complaint or concern about how we handle your data.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at info@minzzle.tech. We will respond within 30 days.
If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India once it is constituted under the DPDP Act 2023.
9. Children
CliqCase is a professional tool intended for use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from individuals under 18 years of age. If you believe a minor has provided data to us, please contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify active users by email and display a notice within the CliqCase application at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
Continued use of CliqCase after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
